As we drifted across the backwaters on the house boat in Kerala, I got many opportunities to click snaps like this one of birds on wire. I have on previous occasions tried to capture the classic “Birds on Wire” shot but have never been too happy with the results. This time however I was luck to get a good shot directly below, and one in which a bird is just about to take off.
