beach - photography with long exposure

For still snaps of an object or a place with low lighting conditions, its fun to do a longer exposure with a low ISO, like this one was exposed for 13 secs, at ISO 100 at Bambolim beach. I also set an open aperture (f1.8) and focused just at the spot where the sand and the waves meet, which makes the sand at the corners blurred, forcing the user to concentrate on the light and the shore line. The sky came out nice with a slight gradient color as you move away from the light source, and the reflection on the water looks nice. The tilted angle gives it an interesting perspective and I sort of followed the 1/3rd rule too, and yeah the small specks of white in the sky are actually stars! I love this snap!
